I have a 2005 Rincon and am very pleased with it.
I did have a few issues at first that was very discouraging.  The dealer I bought it from was the biggest problem.  I took it to another dealer and the problems were fixed.

My 2005 Rinny now has over 3100 miles....its survived 3 rolls and 3 sets of rear brakes.

I love the IRS but hate the engine braking... I mean what engine braking? I dislike the auto shift on the steep hills when it down shifts so usually put it in manual on that sort of stuff.

Did have some issues with it overheating some but a friend of mine made a radiator guard and helps keep out some of the junk that splashes it. The Rats Nest at Windrock is the worst on it... all that water and leaves and junk then the gravel back sets up the junk in the radiator like concrete.

All 3 of the rolls happened when it was green.... nothing was wrong with the plastic just some scratches from riding it but I didnit like the green adn I wanted red so now it has Red plastic and no more rolls!!!!! Front and back boxes seemed to have saved the plastic, racks and handlebars.
It has earned the nickname Rollcon.

I have done all the maintenance and repairs on it myself and no repairs on it so far(knock on wood!)

I would like more info on that needle grease gun though... and how to go about greasing everything.

U actually see other riders over there riding now unlike when yall were down there last.... things have changed quite a bit with the gas wells coming in but thats one of the best trails at WR. (JMO)

If u like that then u will need to try out Brimstone sometime....lots of good trails and some good technical stuff. I think some of their moderate trails would equal what some call difficult at WR. Thats just some more trails in the TN hills!
U remember my phrase Baby trails dont ya? It doesnt apply to the moderate and difficult trails at Brimstone. lol

Looks like I have been handed a way to keep the miles down on the Rinny.... I have been in a cast up to my knee for over a week now...seems I broke my foot a few weeks ago and didnt realize it was broke.... No riding for me for a while and its unknown how long. May have to do surgery and add pins if its not healing like its supposed too.
So with being in a cast and put off work Im reading a lot on baords...so if yall can help entertain me I would appreciate it... love seeing the pics and hearing the ride reports.

The rinny has been sitting there smiling when i go out to the shop... its sat still for a month now..... It has NEVER sat still that long without being rode.

We will do our best to keep you entertained.

Bama - how in the world did you do that?? (was you kicking somebody's behind??) All kidding aside, I hope you heal up better. Do what they tell you to, and hopefully it will heal properly without having to do the surgery thing. We'll do our best to keep you busy here, just stop in and visit!

Its rather embarrassing....didnt break it kicking any butts but there is a few out there that I would love to try it on!

I broke it on the door stop at work.... I was walking in the door and pushed it open real hard cause i was in a hurry...the door came back adn the stop that holds the door open wasnt all the way up but sticking straight out and when the door come back as I was walking in nailed me in the foot... I screamed of course and my blood turned hot as fire but it hurt.... well I kept on and was finishing what I was trying to do and it just kept getting worse... I think I went about a week and it got to where I couldnt even put on my shoe... finally it was swollen so bad and hurt so bad to walk on it I decided I would go to the dr and just tell them what was wrong and see what to do from there...NEVER in a million years would i have thought it was broke... but yep... it was... not only that but it had been broke before and I never knew it. I mean yeah I have hurt a foot here or there before but this was the first time ever to keep having problems with it.

So Im am totally off work cause I cant lift, walk, stand or be on slick surfaces, they said to use a walker but where I live isnt big enough for a walker/wheelchair or crutches. I can only be on it 10 minutes at a time and so taht leaves goign to the bathroom as about all i can do.

Im not a very happy camper right now cause this is too slow for me.... not only that I cant just come home and slip my shoes off and take it easy...I havent figured a way to get this cast off yet so its like I always got a shoe or a tight sweater on my leg. lol
Our sleeping arrangement(mine and my buddy's...the cast) has been something to compromise on... we do fine as long as it doesnt touch me! lol So I found a pillow case that I slip my leg into at night and that way the rough cast wont touch my other leg.
I think I fully understand the meaning of old ball and chain now... cause thats the closest thing I can think of to compare this too! lol

That hurts just reading about it. I broke my pinky toe this summer and thought that hurt!

You need to do what the Dr.'s tell you to so it will heal properly ~ your feet are kinda important!

I never had to have a cast on my feet, but I had to have my jaw wired shut when I was little. I've been told when they repaired it, they gave me a bionic one!
