The early model releases were nothing to get overly excited about.  The two new things were the option to get the 700 Grizzly without power steering, and a new camo pattern.  Let's hope that they have more in store for later this year, when they release the '08 Rhino's.

Gee, I was sure hoping for more options with power steering and IRS.

It is a very sad day.... ....I went on the Yamaha site and saw first hand the new 08 Rhino 700 EFI.  If I would have only waited 5 months, not listened to the dealer ("oh no, there are no plans for a FI model anytime soon")

I love our Rhino but hate the cold weather starts.  I was puzzled by the reduction from 5 valves (07 model) to the 4 vavles on the 08 though?  Anyone have any insight why the reduction in valves?  I would believe it would cause a noticable reduction in power.

Not sure about the Rhinos but they need to fix the air box on the 700 griz.

I sucked dirt into my engine and now I have the  blown motor mod !!!

Going to upgrade the air system when I get it back from the dealer.

captjack, I recently purchased a 700 grizzly.  Should I be concerned?

Interesting note on the Grizzley's airbox.  I was not aware of any issues with the Rhino's placement (other than the pain in the butt access), but I did see where they moved the airbox up front under the hood.

I haven't had any issues with the Raptor's airbox, but of course it is not quite made for the deep mud pits either.  I do love the one touch cold starts though!
