http://www.pandora.com/This is a site that has a million+ tracks from well known and little known artists. You start with an artist or a song title and the site builds play lists of similar songs. The site then starts streaming music to your computer, You tell the site if you like the song or not. After a while, you receive a stream of music that you like.
Did I mention that it is free? After a few songs you do need to register but no big deal.
It took me a while to figure out what was going on here but now I LOVE it.
