the word scale appears on digital readout and stays on all the time, also all the warning lights come on and stay on, bike run fine and seems okay and everythings seems to work okay. what does scale mean. thanks tony

Wish I could help never had anything like that happen to my old one. I have been told by some that the head units get water in them sometimes and make them mess up by they just said something about the speedo not working right not all of what your saying. My .02

Tony, if you find out, please post the answer. I have a new (to me) Outy 400 efi with digital readouts. Only had it for a few months with no miles to speak of on it. However, if the problem comes up, it sure would be nice to have the answer by clicking in on this post.

used a small screwdriver and pulled out the unit and popped out the function button from behind i guess there was dirt stuck or something but it now works, dealer new nothing about it wanted me to buy a new one instead
