Muddweiser and I rode a little over 50 miles at Indian Ridge Saturday. The trails were in good shape except for several downed trees. There has been very little trail maintainence since I was last there. The parking lot at the trail head was crowded and there were a lot of folks camping at the Ashland Resort Campground. I asked at the Company Store and at the Campground store for information about the long awaited connector between Indian Ridge and Pinnacle Creek. All I could get was " They are still working on it". Thats what they said last year. I was also told that the work continues on the new Mercer County section of the Hatfield-McCoy trails with a late summer or fall opening date. I guess it is wait and see. Well so long for now. HAPPY TRAILS.
