Gas tank not vented? Drawing a vacuum?  My 2 cents.

I had that problem w/ my Wolverine.
I blew into it to blow the shavings away from the fuel line inlet.
Worked fine for the rest of the trip.
Cleaned the tank when I got home. Poured the gas into a bucket w/ an old CLEAN T-shirt over the top.
Amazed at all the plastic shavings. Never another problem.
Check for vent tube kinking as well.

Did you try taking the slack out of the throttle cable. Pull back the rubber dust cover and turn the plastic nut to pull out the slack. That will do exactly what your describing.

My wife's '06 Polaris Hawkeye had a similar problem from new.  It would stall on uphills, downhills, straight aways, just never knew when it was going to stop.  It acted like it was running out of gas. I returned to the dealer and they found a kinked vent line under the fuel tank.  It has run fine ever since.

thanks to everyone ror their suggestions we found nothing in tank, but 11 inches of extra fuel line coming from tank.the line was laying on radiator hose maybe vapor lock or weak vacum fuel pump, seems fine now, again thanks rockrolls.
